Marquee Dental Partners Completes Second Major Acquisition, Adds Paducah, Kentucky Dental Practice

Nashville, TN – December 8, 2015 – – Marquee Dental Partners has completed its second major acquisition shortly after launching with a $35 million capital commitment from Chicago Pacific Founders. Marquee announced today that it has entered into an affiliation agreement with Bohle Family Dentistry, a multi-specialty dental practice based in Paducah, Kentucky serving the west Kentucky and Illinois markets. By providing dentists with both the support and the clinical autonomy they need to succeed, Marquee enables them to focus their attention on providing the best oral healthcare services possible.

“Bohle Family Dentistry has had a tremendous reputation of providing high quality, comprehensive dental services for more than 30 years, and we are truly honored to enter this agreement with the practice,” said Marquee Dental CEO James Usdan. “By acquiring the business end of Bohle through this affiliation, Marquee has begun to further expand its footprint in the Mid-South.”

Marquee Dental, which places heavy emphasis on dentists’ clinical autonomy, will leave in-place Bohle Family Dentistry’s practice and staff. Dr. Chip Bohle, DMD, will remain actively involved in the practice in addition to serving as Marquee Dental’s Chief Dental Officer for the State of Kentucky. From the patient perspective, the transition will be seamless.

“Affiliating with Marquee Dental will allow our practice to continue its focus on providing the highest quality care to families in the Paducah area,” said Dr. Chip Bohle, DMD. “Marquee’s support will be invaluable in decreasing the distractions of administrative paperwork, enabling our staff to focus on serving patients using the most advanced procedures and technologies available in the industry.”

Marquee Dental announced its first acquisition of a seven-office Nashville dental practice in October and plans to rapidly grow its practice roster in the coming months. The company will affiliate with dental offices and practice groups in growth markets with a history of providing high quality care, initially focusing in the Mid-South on markets including Tennessee, Kentucky and Alabama.

The experienced Marquee Dental team is led by CEO James Usdan, a seasoned executive who has served as CEO of three public companies and five private equity-backed firms. Usdan has decades of experience in the dental industry and has led or served as a board member of four dental service companies.
