Carter Blanton

In his role as VP of Business Development Carter is dedicated to finding the next great partner to bring into the Marquee family. Often the first impression a doctor may have of Marquee, his primary initiative is to support the company in its acquisition and growth objectives with oversight of integration and onboarding. He believes honesty and integrity are paramount in any great business relationship. Prior to Marquee Carter spent the last fifteen years fine-tuning his expertise in forming healthcare partnerships. Carter has worked at Covenant Physician Partners, CRH Medical Corporation, and AMSURG partnering with and supporting doctors in each role. His broad deal experience includes dental, ophthalmology, anesthesia, gastroenterology, orthopedics, as well as ambulatory surgical center and pathology partnerships. Carter holds a B.S. in International Business from Pepperdine University. When he’s not on the road meeting doctors Carter is spending time with his wife, 2 beautiful children, and German Shepherd, Buddy. He enjoys traveling, supporting all local Nashville sports teams, and a great rye bourbon.
